EV charger installation in Ephrata and Lancaster County, PA
A home charger is only as good as the circuit behind it. We install Level 2 chargers, including Tesla Wall Connectors, on a dedicated 240-volt circuit sized for your charger and your panel.

What’s included
- A look at your panel and the spot where you want the charger, so the quote matches the real job
- A dedicated circuit and breaker sized for the charger you choose
- Neat wiring and conduit from the panel to the charger, in the garage or on an exterior wall
- Guidance on permits and inspection for your municipality
- Testing, plus a walkthrough of how to use and schedule your charger
Hardwired or plug-in?
Most homeowners choose a hardwired charger because it’s a clean, permanent installation. A 240-volt outlet lets you plug the charger in and take it with you if you move. We’ll explain the tradeoffs and install whichever suits your home.
Will my panel handle it?
EV chargers draw a lot of power for hours at a time. Many homes can add one without changes, but some panels are close to full. We check your panel’s capacity before we quote. If work is needed, we’ll lay out your options, from a charger with load management to a panel upgrade.
Permits
Adding a 240-volt circuit usually needs a permit and an inspection. Read our guide to EV charger permits in Pennsylvania, or ask us what applies at your address.
What happens next
- Send a photo of your panel and the spot for the charger, or call and describe it.

Common questions
Do you install chargers other than Tesla?
Yes. We install most Level 2 home chargers. Tell us which one you have or are considering and we’ll work from there.
How much does an EV charger installation cost?
It depends mostly on how far the charger is from your panel, whether your panel needs any work, and which charger you choose. We give free quotes, and a photo of your panel and garage often gets us most of the way there.
Do I need a permit?
Usually, yes. Adding a new 240-volt circuit typically requires a permit and inspection, and requirements vary by municipality. We’ll tell you what applies to your address.
How long does the installation take?
Many installs fit in a single visit, but it depends on the distance from your panel and whether other work is needed. We’ll give you a realistic timeline with your quote.
